Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  3. Add onions, garlic, and ginger; sauté until onions are translucent.
  4. Add turmeric, coriander, and chili powder; stir well.
  5. Add potatoes and cauliflower; mix to coat with spices.
  6. Add salt and a little water; cover and cook for about 15 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  7. Stir in garam masala and cilantro, cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with rice or naan.
