- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan or chopped herbs (like parsley)
Instructions
- Grate the yellow squash, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 10–15 minutes. Squeeze out excess moisture.
- Mix drained squash with egg, breadcrumbs, cheese, and seasonings until combined.
- Shape into small cylinders using about 1 tablespoon of mixture per tot.
- Oven: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway. Air Fryer: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway.

- Drain squash thoroughly to avoid soggy tots.
