- 2 large eggs

- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup crushed peppermint candies (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and peppermint candies if using.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
