Description

Turtle Cheesecake is a delicious dessert that combines rich chocolate, creamy cheesecake, and crunchy pecans.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and half of the chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  8. Let the cheesecake cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle the remaining pecans on top.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened for the best texture.
