Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 4 spring onions
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them until tender.
  2. Melt butter in a large pan and sauté chopped cabbage and spring onions until softened.
  3. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces.
  4. Drain the potatoes and mash them with heavy cream and some of the sautéed cabbage, season with salt and pepper.
  5. Fold in the remaining cabbage and crumbled bacon.
