- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 head of cabbage
- 4 spring onions
- 4 strips turkey bacon
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them until tender.
- Melt butter in a large pan and sauté chopped cabbage and spring onions until softened.
- Cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them with heavy cream and some of the sautéed cabbage, season with salt and pepper.
- Fold in the remaining cabbage and crumbled bacon.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional spring onions if desired.
