- 12 large pasta shells
- 3 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crisp, then chop.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and bacon.
- Stuff each cooked shell with the cheese mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish and arrange the stuffed shells on top.
- Pour remaining sauce over the shells and cover with foil.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
