Description

These Filipino Lumpia are crispy, golden spring rolls filled with savory ground pork, vegetables, and spices. Perfect for parties and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup chopped green onions
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 egg (for filling)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2530 lumpia wrappers
  • 1 egg (beaten, for sealing)
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine pork, carrots, cabbage, onions, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, pepper, salt, and egg. Mix well.
  2. Place a wrapper on a flat surface like a diamond. Add 1–2 tbsp filling, roll tightly, fold in sides, and seal with beaten egg.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry lumpia in batches for 3–5 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.

  • Freeze uncooked lumpia on a tray before bagging for later frying.
