Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- For the brownie base: melt butter, whisk in sugar, eggs, cocoa, and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread in pan and bake 15 minutes. Cool slightly.
- For the cheesecake filling: beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and sour cream.
- Pour cheesecake batter over brownie base. Bake 40–45 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
- Turn off oven, crack door, and let cool 30 minutes inside. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle sea salt before serving.
