- 1 large onion
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Chop the bell peppers and onion into small pieces.
- In a large pot, combine the chopped vegetables, sugar, vinegar, salt, and black pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool before transferring to jars.
