Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef roast
  • 2 large onions
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon thyme


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the beef roast with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the roast on all sides.
  4. Remove the roast and set aside. In the same skillet, add chopped onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  5. Return the roast to the skillet, add beef broth, and thyme.
  6. Cover and transfer to the oven. Roast for 2-3 hours until tender.
  7. Slice the beef and serve with onions and broth.
