- 12 large jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each cooked shell with the chicken and cheese mixture.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and stir in marinara sauce.
- Spread some sauce on the bottom of a baking dish, place the stuffed shells on top, and cover with remaining sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add Italian seasoning to the filling.
- Serve with garlic bread and a side salad for a complete meal.
