Description

These Strawberry or Cherry Cheesecake Hand Pies are a delectable treat that combines the creamy flavor of cheesecake with the freshness of strawberries or cherries, all wrapped in a flaky crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries or cherries, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Add chopped strawberries or cherries to the mixture and combine.
  4. Roll out pie crusts and cut into circles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the cheesecake mixture on one half of each circle.
  6. Fold over and seal the edges using a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
