A delicious blend of sweet strawberries, honey, and a hint of jalapeño for that spicy kick, perfect for spreading on toast or adding to desserts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1-2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 package pectin

Instructions

  1. Combine chopped strawberries, jalapeños, and lemon juice in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add honey and stir until well combined.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the pectin and stir constantly.
  4. Boil for 1-2 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before pouring into jars.

Notes

  • For a spicier jam, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
  • This jam pairs well with cheese platters.
