Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Layer the sliced strawberries over the cream cheese mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the cake mix with melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until just combined.
  6. Pour the cake batter over the strawberry layer, smoothing it out evenly.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
