- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, granulated sugar, and softened butter until crumbly.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- While the cake is baking, make the cream cheese filling by beating the cream cheese and heavy cream until fluffy.
- Once the cake has cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture on top.
- Top with chopped strawberries and dust with powdered sugar.
- Slice and serve chilled.

- For added flavor, you can mix some strawberry puree into the cream cheese filling.
