Ingredients

- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, vegetable oil, garlic, ginger, pineapple juice, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Marinate the chicken thighs in the mixture for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Brush additional marinade on the chicken while grilling for extra flavor.
- Remove from grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
