Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, vegetable oil, garlic, ginger, pineapple juice, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  2. Marinate the chicken thighs in the mixture for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  5. Brush additional marinade on the chicken while grilling for extra flavor.
