- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season steak with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook steak to desired doneness. Let rest, then slice thinly.
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic (and mushrooms if using) until fragrant. Add cream and Parmesan, stirring until sauce thickens.
- Combine steak, pasta, and sauce. If needed, add reserved pasta water for consistency. Serve garnished with parsley.
