Indulge in the rich flavors of our steak pasta recipe, a perfect combination of tenderly cooked steak slices, nestled in creamy, garlic-infused sauce, and served over perfectly cooked pasta. It’s a hearty, satisfying dish that’s sure to impress at any dinner table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook steak to desired doneness. Let rest, then slice thinly.
  2. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic (and mushrooms if using) until fragrant. Add cream and Parmesan, stirring until sauce thickens.
  4. Combine steak, pasta, and sauce. If needed, add reserved pasta water for consistency. Serve garnished with parsley.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a mixture of milk and flour.
  • Add vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for a nutritional boost.
