Description

A delicious and comforting dish that combines spinach and ricotta cheese stuffed inside pasta, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces pasta shells
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine fresh spinach, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each pasta shell with the spinach and cheese mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells on top, then cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add herbs like basil or oregano to the cheese mixture.
  • Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving to allow the cheese to set.
