Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries

  3. Rub the spice mix all over the chicken breasts and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated chicken breasts.
  5. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and juices run clear.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine blackberries and diced jalapeño.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, top each breast with the blackberry-jalapeño mixture and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  8. Cover the skillet to allow the cheese to melt for about 2 minutes.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
