Description

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds beef shoulder
  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, black pepper, salt, olive oil, and thyme.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the beef shoulder.
  4. Place the beef in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 3 hours, then remove the foil and roast for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the top.
  6. Let the beef rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the beef in the honey garlic mixture overnight.
