These Shrimp & Crab Cream Cheese Wontons are a delectable and easy-to-make appetizer that is perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 ounces lump crab meat
  • 4 ounces shrimp, cooked and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crab meat, shrimp, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce until well combined.
  2. Place about a tablespoon of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Wet the edges of the wonton wrapper with water, fold over to form a triangle, and seal tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
