Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into pieces
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add asparagus to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, until tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes if using. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to combine. Add spaghetti and mix well.
