Shepherd’s Pie that takes a comforting classic to the next level with turkey bacon and chicken ham.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- In the same pan, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add ground turkey, chicken ham, diced carrots, thyme, rosemary, and cook until turkey is browned.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and peas, season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes.
- Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the top is golden.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cheese on top before baking.
- You can substitute ground beef if preferred.
