- 1 pound sausages
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 cups cabbage, chopped
- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the sausages over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until tender.
- Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms, stir, and gradually add beef broth, stirring until thickened.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder, then return sausages to the skillet.
- In a separate pot, boil potatoes until tender. Drain and return to pot.
- Add chopped cabbage to the potatoes and cook until cabbage is wilted.
- Stir in heavy cream and butter, mashing until creamy.
- Serve sausages with gravy over the creamy cabbage mashed potatoes.

- For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or parsley to the gravy.
- Leftover gravy can be served with bread or over rice.
