- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- For Garnish:
- Flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: Combine flour and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add ice water until dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Roll and Fit Crust: Roll out dough to a 12-inch circle. Fit into a 9-inch pie dish, crimp edges, and refrigerate.
- Make the Filling: Whisk together melted butter, honey, sugars, eggs, cream, vinegar, vanilla, and sea salt until smooth.
- Assemble and Bake: Pour filling into crust. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45-50 minutes or until edges set and center is slightly wobbly.
- Cool and Garnish: Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.
