Description

These delicious crab cakes are a perfect indulgence paired with a rich lemon butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix gently until combined and form into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the crab cakes to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. For the lemon butter sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, add lemon juice, and stir until combined.
  6. Serve the crab cakes drizzled with the lemon butter sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add minced garlic to the crab mixture.
  • Chill the formed patties for 30 minutes before cooking for better texture.
