- 1 pound lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until combined and form into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the crab cakes to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- For the lemon butter sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, add lemon juice, and stir until combined.
- Serve the crab cakes drizzled with the lemon butter sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add minced garlic to the crab mixture.
- Chill the formed patties for 30 minutes before cooking for better texture.
