A delicious Root Beer Float Pie that combines the flavors of root beer and ice cream into a delightful dessert.

- 1 pie crust pre-made or homemade
- 2 cups root beer
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine root beer, sugar, and gelatin over medium heat until dissolved.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form.
- Fold the root beer mixture into the whipped cream.
- Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, top with vanilla ice cream if desired.
Notes
- For an extra touch, drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce before serving.
- Best served chilled and can be accompanied by whipped cream.
