Ingredients

  • 1 tsp rice vinegar (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 lb baby bok choy, halved or quartered
  • 2 tbsp vegetable or sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced or minced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, minced or julienned
  • 1 tsp honey or sugar (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
  • Chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add bok choy, toss and stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until wilted and tender-crisp.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey. Toss to coat evenly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Cook another minute.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired. Serve immediately.

  • Use baby bok choy for faster, even cooking.
  • Don’t overcook—the stalks should stay crisp-tender.
