Description

This pickled cherry tomatoes recipe is an easy and flavorful way to preserve your harvest.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 sprig fresh dill


Instructions

  1. Wash the cherry tomatoes and pack them into sterilized jars.
  2. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar and salt dissolve.
  3. Add garlic, peppercorns, red pepper flakes, and dill to the jars.
  4. Pour the hot brine over the tomatoes, leaving some headspace.
  5. Seal the jars tightly and let them cool to room temperature.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before enjoying for the best flavor.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add more red pepper flakes.
