- 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers (1 red, 1 green), sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the beef: Mix soy sauce and cornstarch with sliced beef. Let sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef slices and stir-fry until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add more oil if needed, and stir-fry the bell peppers, onion, and garlic until just tender.
- Return the beef to the skillet, mix well, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Notes
For the best flavor, marinate the beef for at least 30 minutes. Adjust the amount of soy sauce based on your sodium preference.
