Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary


Instructions

  1. Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Season both sides of the steaks with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the steaks to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  5. In the last minute of cooking, add the smashed garlic and rosemary to the pan.
  6. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
