Description
These Overnight Cinnamon Rolls are an easy and delightful way to start your mornings. Prepare them the night before and wake up to the sweet aroma of freshly baked rolls filled with cinnamon and sugar.

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk (for icing)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- In a saucepan, heat milk, butter, and water until warm. Stir into the flour mixture.
- Add eggs and mix until smooth. Knead dough for about 5 minutes.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread with butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
- Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 25-30 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar with milk to create icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use buttermilk instead of whole milk.
- Feel free to add raisins or nuts to the filling for extra texture.
