Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, garlic, thyme, and black pepper.
  2. Place the chicken in a resealable bag or a dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours for maximum flavor.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade.
