Bright and zesty, this Orange Jalapeño Sunshine Jam combines the sweetness of oranges with a spicy kick from jalapeños for a delightful spread.
Ingredients

- 4 large oranges
- 2 jalapeños
- 1 lemon
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 packet pectin
Instructions
- Wash the oranges and jalapeños. Zest and juice the oranges and lemon.
- Chop the jalapeños, removing seeds for less heat.
- In a pot, combine orange zest, juice, lemon juice, jalapeños, and water. Bring to a boil.
- Add sugar and pectin, stirring constantly until dissolved.
- Boil for 10 minutes, then remove from heat. Skim off any foam.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
- Allow to cool and store in the refrigerator.
Notes
- For a spicier jam, leave the seeds in the jalapeños.
- This jam pairs well with cream cheese or on toast.
