Description

A comforting and hearty old-fashioned goulash made with turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. In the same pot, add ground turkey, onion, and garlic. Cook until turkey is browned.
  3. Add diced chicken ham, beef broth, diced tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in elbow macaroni and smoked paprika. Cover and cook until macaroni is tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in chopped turkey bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add some red pepper flakes.
