Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine water and butter; bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in flour and salt until the mixture forms a ball.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly; beat in eggs one at a time.
  5. Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. While baking, whip the cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  7. Once puffs are cool, slice and fill with the whipped cream.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a sweeter filling, add more powdered sugar to the cream.
