Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a saucepan, combine water and butter; bring to a boil.
- Stir in flour and salt until the mixture forms a ball.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly; beat in eggs one at a time.
- Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
- While baking, whip the cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Once puffs are cool, slice and fill with the whipped cream.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a sweeter filling, add more powdered sugar to the cream.
- These puffs can be made ahead of time and frozen.
