Description

Marry Me Salmon is a creamy, oven-baked salmon dish topped with a rich sun-dried tomato and Parmesan sauce. Perfect for date nights or elegant weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the sheet. Season with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. Bake the salmon for 10–12 minutes or until cooked through and flaky.
  4. While the salmon bakes, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  5. Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 2 more minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to low, then stir in heavy cream and Dijon mustard. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  7. Stir in Parmesan and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Remove salmon from the oven and spoon the sauce over each fillet.
  9. Garnish with parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting and flavor.
  • Do not overcook the salmon; check for doneness at 10 minutes.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Freeze the salmon without sauce for better texture when reheated.
