Description

Maple Dijon Chicken Ham Glaze is the perfect addition to your holiday feast. This easy recipe combines the sweetness of maple with the tanginess of Dijon mustard to create a delicious glaze for your chicken or ham.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1.5 pounds chicken or ham

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to create the glaze.
  3. Place the chicken or ham in a baking dish and brush generously with the glaze.
  4. Bake in the oven for 45-60 minutes, basting occasionally with the remaining glaze, until the chicken is cooked through or the ham is heated.
  5. Remove from the oven and let sit for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier glaze, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • This glaze can also be used for grilling.
