- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare muffin tins with cupcake liners.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Scoop brownie batter into each cupcake liner, filling them halfway.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter in each cup.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the cheesecake layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until set, then let cool.
Notes
- Make sure to not overmix the brownie batter.
- For a richer flavor, add more chocolate chips.
