Description

A delightful dessert that combines the sweet and salty flavors of lemon, cream, and pretzels.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 package lemon gelatin
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 cups lemon yogurt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool completely.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  6. In another bowl, dissolve lemon gelatin in boiling water, then add cold water. Stir in lemon yogurt.
  7. Pour the gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Notes

  • For a stronger lemon flavor, use fresh lemon juice instead of water in the gelatin.
  • Ensure the crust is completely cooled before adding the cream cheese layer to prevent melting.
