Description

Juicy, buttery salmon fillets cooked in a rich lemon garlic butter sauce — quick enough for weeknights, elegant enough for guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on or skinless)
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear salmon skin-side down for 4–5 mins.
  3. Flip and cook another 2–3 mins, then set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt the butter.
  5. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and parsley.
  6. Return salmon to pan and spoon sauce over for 1–2 mins until warmed.
  7. Garnish with lemon slices and serve.

Notes

  • Use wild-caught salmon for best flavor.
  • You can also bake the salmon at 400°F for 12–15 minutes.
  • Add red pepper flakes or paprika for extra flavor.
  • Serve with rice, veggies, or mashed potatoes.
