Description
Juicy, buttery salmon fillets cooked in a rich lemon garlic butter sauce — quick enough for weeknights, elegant enough for guests.
Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on or skinless)
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear salmon skin-side down for 4–5 mins.
- Flip and cook another 2–3 mins, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt the butter.
- Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and parsley.
- Return salmon to pan and spoon sauce over for 1–2 mins until warmed.
- Garnish with lemon slices and serve.
Notes
- Use wild-caught salmon for best flavor.
- You can also bake the salmon at 400°F for 12–15 minutes.
- Add red pepper flakes or paprika for extra flavor.
- Serve with rice, veggies, or mashed potatoes.
