- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the olive oil and mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring to combine.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts and vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey and water, bring to a boil, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Once the cake is done, pour the honey mixture over the hot cake.
