Description

These Jalapeño Popper Deviled Eggs are a delicious twist on the classic recipe, combining creamy goodness with a kick of spice and the added crunch of turkey bacon.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot and covering with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped jalapeños, cream cheese, garlic powder, crumbled turkey bacon, cilantro, salt, and pepper to the yolks and mix until smooth.
  4. Using a piping bag or a spoon, fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture.
  5. Garnish with additional jalapeño slices or bacon if desired before serving.
