Description

Ingredients

  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 pound potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup kale, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in the crockpot until crisp. Remove and crumble.
  2. Add potatoes, onion, garlic, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning to the pot.
  3. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Stir in kale and heavy cream about 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add crumbled turkey bacon before serving.
