A comforting and easy Hamburger Green Bean Casserole recipe that is sure to delight.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups crispy fried onion rings


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and top with crispy fried onion rings. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sauté the onions with the ground beef.
