Description

Enjoy the succulent flavors of traditional Greek roasted leg of lamb, infused with garlic and lemon for a mouthwatering dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole leg of lamb
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Rub the marinade all over the leg of lamb and let it marinate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Place the marinated lamb in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 2 to 2.5 hours, removing the foil for the last 30 minutes to allow for browning.
  6. Let the lamb rest for 15 minutes before carving and serving.
