Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Stir in the vegetable oil and warm water until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into squares.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer and fry the squares until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra sweetness, dust with powdered sugar after frying.
