This German Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake is a rich and indulgent dessert that combines the flavors of classic German chocolate brownies with creamy cheesecake.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup shredded coconut


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs and vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the butter mixture.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into a greased springform pan.
  6. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and sour cream until smooth, then spread over the brownie layer.
  7. Top with remaining brownie batter.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
  9. Let cool before serving.
