- 4 ounces Gruyère cheese, grated

Instructions
- In a pan, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in the beef broth and season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- In another pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
- Assemble the sandwiches by layering the Gruyère and Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, and turkey bacon between slices of sourdough bread.
- Grill the sandwiches in a pan over medium heat until they are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Notes
- For additional flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the caramelized onions.
