Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut hole pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
- Fill the donut hole pan with the batter, about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and granulated sugar with the cinnamon.
- Once the donut holes are baked, roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture while they are still warm.
